The Color Challenge this month is all about lavender and green.
Two colors that automatically make me think of flowers; crocus, violets, and tulips and this makes me want Spring even more.
I combined the color challenge along with an inspiration deck swap that I am participating in, read more about it here on my post last week.
Louise asked us to combine texture in this month's project so I literally took a leaf from one of my house plants, painted it and stamped my cards.
On the back I added my blog address and one of my favorite photos.
Hop over to Louise Gale's blog to see what the other artists created this month with lavender and green.
Also, feel free to hop over to WOYWW at stamping ground and stalk a few desks.
Love the colours and sentiments on your creative work there! Thanks for sharing. Karen 125 x

ReplyDeleteok, I admit I am so ditzy sometimes but I keep forgetting how cute it looks when you write on your hand like that until I see your blog and then I'm thunking my head cause I forgot! One day I am going to copy that and when I do hopefully I'll remember to link it back to your blog! waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)
ReplyDeleteI thought the leaf prints were quite lovely anyway, but really like them more now you've added words..the colours work well huh. Love your photo presentation...would take me hours to write so beautifully on my hand!

these are great! wonderful idea!
ReplyDeleteLori--I love your cards! I think it's even more special knowing that you actually used leaves from your plants--gives them life and texture. Hopefully I'll receive one of your sweet inspiration cards.
