Day 6 May Flower Challenge

Welcome to day 6 of the May Flower Challenge.

I'm fascinated with flowers. They are all over my tiny apartment. I photograph them all the time. I draw, paint, doodle them, create them out of paper... I also see them all over the NYC. Each day I will post flowers and I hope that you will join in. The only rules are that your blog post or flickr photo that you link must contain flowers. Click above on the May Flower Challenge Page to learn more.

When you are in NYC on a Saturday morning, at a least a couple times a month, you will find me at the Union Square Green Market. Growing up we always called it the Farmer's Market.
Farm to table food is my ideal way of eating.

The flowers, at this time of year, are exploding at the market. It is time to plant your window boxes or if you are blessed with outdoor space your patio or balcony or yard.

I, on the other hand, love fresh cut tulips.
My Mom has over 300 tulips in her garden so tulips remind me of home.

By the way, today is Superman's birthday. For those of you who are new to my blog Superman is my boyfriend - who does all things muscular for me and especially saves me from being the one who carries the groceries up 3 flights of stairs.

He's my superhero for many reasons and I just want to wish him a Happy Birthday! Love you, sweetie. ❤ ❤

Participate by linking your blog post to my blog post. Each day during May, starting on May 1st, on my blog post I will have a linkytool available so that you can link your specific blog post (not just your blog but the post itself) to my blog post. And, please remember to link back.

Participate by linking to the flickr group - May Flower Challenge- and adding a photo of your flower creation. Make sure you add your photo to the linky below each day that you post.

  1. Sorry, I had to start numbering them because I am losing track!

Love those pansies. I too am a farmers market fanatic. In summer, it is the only place I shop.
