About Me

Photographer, jewelry artisan,
 lover of upcycled anything,
 seeker of public art installations,
a believer that flowers are nature's way of smiling,
passionate about cowboy boots,
and a believer that blue jeans
should qualify as casual business attire

I can get lost for hours creating - no matter what I'm creating (jewelry, painting, photographing). I seem to go to another place, I lose track of time and I love the process.

I believe that chocolate and coffee
 are their own food groups
and I often pair them together.

I believe that warm sand
 between my toes and
sun on my face
can feed my soul in a way
that nothing else does.

I believe that a child's laughter
 can heal the saddest soul
and has often flipped
my mood within moments.

I believe that true happiness
comes from feeding your soul
with your true passion.

Thanks for discovering more about me and for following my journey into a creative life.

  1. Hi Lori!
I love reading your blog! You are a very inspiring person and the pictures you post are so beautiful and often make me stop and think. And also smile! We grew up in the same small town but never had the opportunity to talk much so I really love getting to know you here, on this blog, and I am amazed at what a lovely person you are and a little sad I didnt know it sooner! Keep up the inspiring work you do!

    1. Darlene, I actually moved to California about 5 months ago. I do, however, get back to NYC every few months (I've been back 3 times since I moved). I will check out your blog and message you there too.
