I'm linking up with Julia at Stamping Ground for
I started to play along with
I am having a great time - you should check it out.
My desk is pretty clean - which is amazing since it serves many purposes.
The journal I am currently using,
my glasses so I can see things up close,
to the right are some to be flowers
(yes, those light blue things) cut from an egg carton,
supplies,
paint brushes
(love the plastic bathroom container I found to keep them in),
and at the top inspiration from friends.
The Believe art is from Jill's Dream
and the Wonder Always is from Deborah Velásquez.
Do you see the paper peeking out from under the journal?
It is used as a scratch piece of paper that I scribble on,
dab paint, it is messy but I want to use it for something.
I'm just not sure what.
I'd love to hear your ideas.
Hop over to WOYWW and visit a few desks for inspiration.
Ah I used to have one of those blotter pads on my desk and the edges always started turning up and it really annoyed me. I also used to put the pages into my journal and try and find faces in them with the blots. I must did out the journal it's at my dads it is so old now. Maybe you could do something like that, try and find pictures in your blots, like in the clouds and trees, did you do that when travelling in the car when you were little. Hey maybe I am a nutcase LOL Would love to see the page underneath in full.

ReplyDeleteSo organized and tidy! I know several people use their blotter pages for collage and other art projects. It's a well-loved painted page.... Thanks for sharing!
