WOYWW - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday

I am hopping on Julia's hop over at Stamping Ground for What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

I've been playing with a a little doodling, inspired by the Zentangle® method of pattern drawing.  I doodle in meetings or while on conference calls at the day job. At night I have started to doodle thinking about what I am going to create for my Louise Gale Creative Color Challenge...hmmm I think I need to find markers that match this month's colors.

So, do me a favor and hop over to Stamping-Ground and stalk a few blogs to celebrate WOYWW.

  1. Holy moly Lori,
This is some amazing doodles! I've seen books on doodling (which I say I'm a doodler and not a sketcher) so will have to look into buying one, or two or three. I visited another WOYWW post and the doodling was amazing - from photos of flowers. I think I'm going to have to start taking notes so I can go back to take a second peek.....

    Happy WOYWW

  6. LoriGirl!! Your doodles are AWESOME!!! Love the patterns... you don't even need to add any color (unless you want to!) They're great as is. You are one talented gal. Such an artist at heart.

I still haven't forgotten you (or your gift)... a few setbacks lately, but all is well. I was relieved when i read your post about being "ok" with not doing EVERYTHING we want in life when we're attempting to balance things. That's kinda where i am. So thanks for the reminder that 'I'm ok'... :-) Take care girl. Keep posting. Your words always make me say "aaaaaaaah, Lori"....

  16. Those zentangles are amazing, I love them. I had never heard of them before and looked at the link, they are really interesting. Might have to have a go at them, if I can find the patience.

  17. gorgeous girl these are so beautiful! I sometimes find zentangle a bit bold and heavy, but you've managed a delicacy and sweet beauty to your pieces. I think it's as they're so busy, lots to take in and look at that they kind of zap my energy, even though I do admire their pattern work and detail. Yours are lovely to admire though, really sweet and coming from your heart. Have fun and wishing you a beautiful weekend, keep enjoying your doodling, or rather artwork (o" Liza xxx
