Happy 2012!
No, Superman and I did not venture to Times Square on New Year's Eve. I have lived in NYC for 10 years and I have never been nor will I ever stand outside, with no access to food, water or facilities for more than 12 hours just to see the ball drop. Sigh...
Instead, we stayed in, made dinner, watched movies, clicked over to watch a little of the Times Square chaos, and later enjoyed prosecco and delicious cheeses, meats, olives, fruits, etc.
Then we walked to Central Park to enjoy the fireworks.
Thank you for all of your support, sweet comments, and visits during 2011.
Cheers to a beautiful 2012. May all your wishes come true.
Happy New Year, Lori. I love your fireworks photos. I've never had much luck (i.e. no skill) with night photography. Your photos are awesome. Excited about 2012!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy New year to you! My son watched the ball drop on tv last night...told him I would take him one year. Starting to re- think that...12 hours? I think he will have to settle for lighting of the tree and a little ice skating.
ReplyDeleteHope its a great year for you! Julie
That sounds like a lovely (and sane) evening to me! I too am impressed with your firework shots--you've got skills! Happy 2012!
ReplyDeleteWishing you all the best for 2012.
ReplyDeleteHappy new year to you Lori, sounds like a perfect start to the new year :)
